Book Review: The Green Ambulance Caper

JoJo Publishing provided me with a free copy of this book for my review. All opinions are my own.

The Green Ambulance Caper
Written by Alan Horsfield and illustrated by Jan D'Silva.
Published by JoJo Publishing
RRP $12.99

Although it has some big words in it, this book would be a good one for newly independent readers, perhaps Grade 1 or 2 in school. It's just under 50 pages of large-ish print suitable for that age reader.

Bindi and Dusty Thorn have a green ambulance and they get around town looking after plants in need of TLC. They get upset when plants' names are misused and they are looking to solve a mystery. With Tiffany's help, can they figure around what the Topiary Twins, Nettle and Thistle, are up to?

This is a quirky, funny book with a little bit of mystery. It's a little bit silly, a little bit zany, but just the kind of thing a young kid could get a giggle from.
